Hard Metal Bands

Hartmetall-Bänder (Hard-Metal / Tungsten Carbide Bands) are self-adhesive hard-metal strips that are stuck onto a stationary cross beam (Klemmbalken / Kassettenhalter) and act as the counter-surface for crush (Quetschschnitt) and hot (Heißschnitt) cuts on stationary webs - typically for cross-cuts (Querschnitt), not continuous slitting.

Technical data

• Two cross-sections: (1) 40 mm × 2 mm - wider, heavier-duty applications; (2) 12.7 mm × 1 mm - narrow, light cuts (ideal for HK130 hot-cut cassette)
• Adhesive on one side - peel-and-stick mounting
• Hardness: tungsten carbide (HM)

Fixed cutting/packing fee: € 40 per order, plus per-mm price (length-dependent; sliced from stock rolls).

Price = 40.00 € + Length [mm] × price_per_mm

Mounting surface: Klemmbalken or Kassettenhalter. Used with QMK Messerkassetten and HK130 Heißschnittkassette. For continuous web slitting at web speed, use Messerwelle with Hartmetall coating instead of a band; bands are a stationary counter-surface.
