The Druckluft-Drehdurchführung Typ 50 is the heavy-duty version of the rotary coupling for continuous compressed-air supply into a rotating winding shaft. Sized for the Ø 50 mm drive shaft used on Standardlagerung Typ 50. Use case: heavy coil winders, 2,800 Nm shafts, wide webs.
Technical characteristics
- Larger internal passage than the Typ 30 version (higher flow for faster (de)-pressurising of longer/fatter shafts)
- Same working-pressure range as the Typ 30 version (6-10 bar)
- Mates with the drive-shaft end of Standardlagerung Typ 50

Only used with Standardlagerung Typ 50. For automatic-air shafts at 2,800 Nm load this is the required upsize compared to Drehdurchführung 30.
