The Aluminiumschaum-Sandwichplatte (Aluminum Foam Sandwich Panel) is a sandwich construction with two aluminium face sheets bonded to a closed-cell aluminium foam core. Combines the rigidity of aluminium with an extremely low-density crushable core. Excellent stiffness-to-weight ratio, strong energy absorption (crash), high sound damping.
