The Druckluft-Drehdurchführung Typ 30 (Rotary Air Feedthrough Type 30) is a rotary coupling that lets compressed air be fed from a stationary supply hose into a rotating winding shaft. Without it, the shaft would have to be stopped for every core change to connect/disconnect the air hose. With it, the shaft can stay pressurised while rotating. Mounting size matches Standardlagerung Typ 30 and Typ 30N (Ø 30 drive shaft). Reference product (air side): MQR1-M5, Fa. SMT.

- Air pressure range: compatible with the shaft clamping system (typ. 6-10 bar supply)
- Single-port design (one inlet, one outlet)
- Mounted onto the drive-shaft end opposite the bayonet flange
- Compatible with both Typ 30 and Typ 30N (same shaft diameter)

Only used with Standardlagerung Typ 30 or Typ 30N. Typical downstream product: automatic air supply on a Flexwinder K turret shaft. Chinese assembly cost-optimisation: rotary joints are available cheaper from SMT and similar Chinese suppliers.
