Coil Transport Cart

The Coilwagen is a rail-guided motorised vehicle used to transport heavy metal coils between storage, decoiler (Haspel) and rewinder stations. Accepts a coil from a crane or from the floor and drives it along a floor rail directly onto the mandrel of the decoiler. Construction: yellow/black safety-striped welded steel frame, low-profile, saddle-shaped top to cradle the coil, electric drive on floor-mounted rails, lift cylinder for vertical alignment.

Project-based; part of a Haspel + line installation package. Always paired with Haspel. Used upstream of Platinenanlage, Schwenkschere, Stanzautomat. Rail spacing, lift stroke and track length are all custom per installation.
