The ROTOmove 1200 is part of the proprietary Grossmann ROTOmove family of pneumatic rotary indexing heads (Rundschaltkopf / Rotary Indexing System). Used for high-speed tool changes in presses, precision positioning of workpieces, watermark/hologram production, automotive pick-and-place, etc. Three sizes cover clamping diameters from 80 mm up to 1,200 mm. Distinguishing features: very short switching time (50-200 ms), high number of strokes per minute at 25 % inertia, pneumatic drive, compact footprint.
