The Klapplager ST/FL 40-50 is the larger variant of the Boschert hinged ("fold-open") bearing for dual-side winding shafts whose square journals are 40×40 or 50×50 mm. Source: Boschert "Das Original" (D-79541 Lörrach-Hauingen). Most sold Klapplager size for the Flexwinder K/L platform.

Safety critical note

Same rule as the smaller 22-30 size - cylindrical groove (Nut) between square journal and shaft body is mandatory, and VT1 driver disc MUST be fitted whenever the bearing sits on a web-guide-regulator slider.

Commonly combined with Bahnlaufregler via slider-mounted configuration - VT1 driver disc mandatory.
