The Wellkern-Sandwichplatte (Corrugated-Core / Wave-Core Sandwich Panel) is a sandwich panel with a wavy / corrugated aluminium core between two aluminium face sheets, bonded with a two-component structural adhesive. The corrugated core gives uni-directional stiffness (along the corrugation direction) and a lower price point than welded honeycomb.

Lower cost than welded honeycomb; used where the primary bending load is uni-directional. Same supplier network as the other sandwich panels (Chinese manufacturers + Grossmann CE re-branding).
