Double Winder / Multi-Winder

The Doppelwickler (double winder) and Mehrfachwickler (multi-winder) is a base frame carrying multiple rewinder (or unwinder) stations side-by-side, each with an independent winding shaft. Used when a slit master web is split into several narrow strips that must each be wound onto its own core simultaneously. Every station can have individual hydraulic/pneumatic tension regulation so that each strip winds with its own defined web tension.

After a slitter (Längsschneider), for splitting paper/foil into reels; for heavy-duty coil production.
