Flexwinder K

The Flexwinder K is a complete, modular master machine for processing paper and foil webs in a single pass. Designed as a flexible (Flex-) winder frame that accepts a sequence of exchangeable plug-in modules between the unwind and the rewind stations. Sister model: Flexwinder L - the larger version for wider webs and higher tonnage.

Processing modules (plug-in, exchangeable)

Any combination / sequence of:

• Perforating (Perforieren)
• Punching (Stanzen)
• Stamping (Prägen)
• Printing (Drucken)
• Laminating (Laminieren)
• Slitting / longitudinal cutting (Längsschneiden) - uses Messerkassetten QMK / SMK
• Cross-cutting (Querschneiden) - uses Querschneidermodul

A module change takes about 10 minutes - the key business advantage.

Technical characteristics

• Number of processing stations: 1 - 2 standard (more on request)
• Web width: up to 2,500 mm (two-side bearing variant) / up to 1,600 mm (one-side bearing variant)
• Max web speed: determined by the slowest module selected (e.g. 2,000 m/min for SMK880 shear-cut)
• Unwind / rewind: Beidseitige Wickelwelle + Klapplager 40-50 + speed-regulated drive, OR Turret (Wendewickler) for non-stop operation
• Tension control: dancer or load-cell, servo/frequency controlled
• Edge guide: Bahnlaufregler integrated

Pricing

Project-based machine. The Flexwinder K is quoted per configuration: number of stations, chosen modules, web width, speed class. Sub-products priced from their own catalog (Wickelwellen, Klapplager, Messerkassetten, etc.). "Flex" refers to the modular exchangeability of the processing stations; "Winder" is the base rewinder/unwinder architecture. Flexwinder K = compact (Kompakt) model, Flexwinder L = large (Large) model. Turret option transforms the machine into a continuous, non-stop line.
