Turret Winder

The Wendewickler (Revolver-Wickler / Turret Winder) is a rotating turret that carries two (or more) winding shafts 180° apart (or on three/four positions). When one shaft is full, the turret indexes - the full shaft is swung to the operator position, a fresh core automatically takes over, and the full roll can be removed without stopping the line. Achieves continuous non-stop winding/unwinding.

Configurations

Built as unwinder (decoiler side) or rewinder (coil-up side). Both variants available. Used in Flexwinder K and L master machines as one possible module; also sold standalone.

Technical characteristics

• 2-position (180°) or 4-position turret (90° indexing)
• Each shaft position: full functionality of a beidseitige Wickelwelle + Klapplager + tension-regulated drive
• Automatic core-change sequence (knife cut-over or blow-over depending on material)
• Hydraulic or pneumatic clamping, pneumatic air supply via rotary joint

Project-based, priced per configuration (turret size, number of stations, shaft size, drive torque). Core components: Beidseitige Wickelwelle, Klapplager 40-50, Antrieb/Bremse, Drehdurchführung. Used as an optional module in Flexwinder K and Flexwinder L. Variant of the Flexwinder platform; distinctive feature is the indexing turret.
