Environment & Disposal

Some of our products contain electrical or electronic components, e.g. the hot-cut cassette with power and temperature controller, drives, control cabinets, controllers and sensors.

• Private households: you can hand in old devices free of charge at the collection points of the public waste management authorities (municipal recycling centres). Your local authority can provide details.
• Commercial users: for devices used exclusively in businesses, please contact us about take-back at info@grossmann.de; we will suggest a suitable solution.
• Batteries or accumulators not enclosed by the device, and lamps that can be removed without destruction, must be removed before disposal and disposed of separately. Our current products do not contain batteries.
• You as the end user are responsible for deleting any personal data on old devices (e.g. in controllers).

Separate collection enables reuse and recycling of raw materials and prevents pollutants from entering the environment.

• Cardboard and paper belong in the waste paper collection.
• Plastic films, bubble wrap and other lightweight packaging belong in the yellow bin or yellow bag (your municipality’s collection system in Germany).
• We take back wooden crates, pallets and other transport packaging arising at businesses by arrangement. Write to us at info@grossmann.de.

Worn knives, blades and other metal parts are valuable scrap. Hand them in – with covered edges – at a recycling centre or scrap dealer. Safe handling: Product Safety.
