Accessibility Statement
We want everyone to be able to use our website and online shop.
This English translation is provided for convenience. Only the German version is legally binding.
Scope and status
This statement applies to the website and online shop of Grossmann GmbH i. Gr.. We are a micro-enterprise with fewer than ten employees. In our understanding, we therefore fall under the exemption for micro-enterprises providing services (§ 3 (3) of the German Accessibility Strengthening Act, BFSG). We make this statement voluntarily.
Our goal is to design the website in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, conformance level AA. No formal conformance audit has taken place so far; the website is therefore partially accessible.
What we already do
- Clear heading structure, anchors and tables of contents on longer pages
- Keyboard operability and visible focus indicators
- Sufficient contrast on dark backgrounds and scalable text
- Labelled form fields and text alternatives for images
- Layout for smartphones, tablets and desktop
Known limitations
- 3D viewer: the interactive 3D models are not fully operable by keyboard and screen reader. All essential product information is also available as text, technical data and images.
- Configurators: the configurators for winding shafts, drives, web tension and web guides are extensive and only partly optimised for screen readers. We are happy to take your requirements by e-mail or telephone and prepare the configuration for you.
- Drawings and PDF documents are generally not prepared for accessibility.
- Languages: French, Spanish and Portuguese are machine-translated; legal texts are shown in English there.
