Description
Hot cutting: thermoplastic materials can be cut with a hot-cut holder, or partially or fully melted through by a heated blade.
Cutting speed depends on the web material and, at a maximum of 20 m/min, is relatively low.
A key advantage of hot cutting is that the cut edges fuse — particularly with fabrics — which prevents threads from fraying.
Power and temperature controllers for the hot-cut holder are included.
