Description
Hinged bearings are part of our modular system. All hinged bearings have replaceable wear inserts. The square sizes in the table are standard. Other hinged-bearing designs and sizes are available. The system also includes matching winding shafts, hinged-bearing drives, web guide controllers including turret winders, and complete web-processing machines.
When the wear parts are worn, they can be exchanged.
Important for the winding shaft: it must be 0.5 mm shorter than the distance between the vertical locating faces of the hinged bearings. 0.25 mm on each side must be observed.
The bearing you selected is part of our winding-technology modular system. Matching controlled drives, brakes, web guide controllers, winding shafts, turret winders and complete web-processing machines are shown on the product page.
There is a cylindrical groove between the square journal and the winding-shaft body. The VT1 driver disc fits into this groove. The driver disc is mandatory when the hinged bearings are mounted on a web-guide carriage: the discs pull the non-driven carriage along. Without driver discs fitted on both hinged bearings, the square journals are pulled out of the bearings.
